Best Marketing and Business Affiliate Programs

1. HubSpot

Commission: Flat rate -- up to $1,000 per product purchased

Cookie life: 90 days

HubSpot's mission is to help millions of organizations grow better. Comprised of Marketing Hub, Sales Hub, Service Hub, and a powerful free CRM, HubSpot's award-winning growth platform gives thousands of companies the tools they need to manage the customer experience -- all the way from awareness to advocacy.

As a HubSpot affiliate, the commission you'll receive will depend on the product tier of each product your referral has purchased:

Starter: $250

Professional/CMS: $500

Enterprise: $1,000

Keep in mind that you can earn up to $1,000 for each product purchased. It is not uncommon for customers to buy more than one product at a time. So, in reality, you could very well earn up to $3,000 if your referral were to purchase the Enterprise Growth Suite.

When you join HubSpot's affiliate program, you gain access to a large creative inventory, including demo videos, banners, and copy examples, all designed to help you earn the most commission possible. Plus, you can cultivate a one-on-one relationship with the HubSpot affiliate team, who are all dedicated to helping you succeed.

If you have a large business audience or want to monetize your content, then our affiliate program is likely well-suited for you. (You can learn more about HubSpot by reading HubSpot reviews.)

Cookie life: One year

AWeber has been the autoresponder of choice for over one million businesses and entrepreneurs since 1998. It's a great tool for newsletter and email drip campaigns.

Affiliates of AWeber can earn substantial income through two different channels:

Their in-house program offers a lifetime 30% commission. Plans typically range from around $20 to $150/month, so the payout can add up.

With plans ranging anywhere from $29 per month all the way to $2,000+, the income potential is a very attractive offer, and it costs you absolutely nothing to join the program. The program does not, however, offer any special deals or discounts for any product the affiliate might promote.

4. LeadPages

Commission: 30% recurring

Cookie life: 30 days

LeadPages is an online tool that lets you create easy-to-customize landing pages to collect contact information and boost your conversion rates. (You can learn more about LeadPages by reading reviews.)

Their affiliate program is only open to LeadPages customers. Each paying customer referred brings in a lifetime commission of 30%. Membership prices range from $25 to $200 per month.

LeadPages will sometimes run special offers, such as a $5,000 bonus for affiliates who drive 10+ sales by a given date. All affiliates get access to banners, sidebar images, and social media-friendly links. You also have the option to share a unique link to a free content page (like a blog post or video) rather than a product page.

5. GetResponse

Commission: 33% recurring

Cookie length: 120 days

Along with email marketing, GetResponse offers landing pages, opt-in forms, webinar hosting, a CRM tool, and plenty of other marketing automation tools. (You can learn more about GetResponse by reading reviews.)

Their self-hosted program offers a 33% recurring commission. With plans ranging anywhere from $15 to $1,200/month, the payout can be pretty substantial.

You can also earn $135 for every sale referred through CJ Affiliate. However, the cookie life is only 30 days, rather than 120 offered in the in-house program.

6. SEMRush

Commission: 40% recurring

Cookie life: 10 years

BeRush is the affiliate program for SEMRush, a SaaS company that specializes in SEO and competitive analysis tools for digital marketers. Their affiliate program offers a 40% recurring commission over the lifetime of a referral's subscription, which translates to up to $160 per month per referral. Plus, they offer a very generous 10-year cookie life.

Plus, since BeRush functions under a first cookie attribution model, if a referral were to cancel their subscription and sign up again in the future (within 10 years), you still get commission on that second subscription.

Best Website Builder Affiliate Programs

10. BigCommerce

Commission: 200% or $1,500 per enterprise customer

Cookie life: 90 days

Founded in 2009, BigCommerce is an online store builder that powers thousands of e-commerce stores in over 150 countries. It serves a wide variety of industries, including fashion, automotive, manufacturing, food, and health.

On top of the money, as a Shopify affiliate, you get priority support for your own Shopify store, as well as free Shopify content to promote to your audience.

Joining the program is absolutely free. The main drawbacks may be that the target for this program is quite niche, since you'll need an audience that sells products online and doesn't already have a solid e-commerce platform.

You can also promote StudioPress themes and earn 35% of the sales generated. These purchases get 60 days of cookie tracking.

It's important to note -- WP Engine's affiliate program is two-tiered, which means that you'll get paid not only for referring customers, but also for referring affiliates. You get $50 for each of their referrals.

While it may not be easy to find an audience looking to build a new WordPress website, when you do find those users, the profits can be huge.

Kinsta's affiliate program pays an initial commission, followed by a recurring 10% monthly payment. Affiliates can earn up to $500 initially, depending on the type of plan the referral has purchased:

Starter: $50

Business: $150

It's worth noting that there is no minimum threshold limit to receive a payment.

Best Retail Affiliate Programs

Disclaimer: You'll notice that commissions for retail stores are much smaller than what is offered by B2B because the purchase price is much smaller. But this also means that it's easier to get your audience to buy those items (low price = low commitment), which could translate into high conversion rates and higher returns.

17. Amazon Associates

Commission: 1-10% (depending on the product category)

Cookie life: 24 hours

Amazon is one of the most popular online shopping platforms, so if you're looking to buy something, chances are you'll find it on Amazon.

Amazon Associates pays commissions between 1% and 10%, depending on the category the product purchased falls under. The most valuable items to promote are clothes and luxury beauty products, both of which can earn you a 10% cut on the price.

One of the main advantages of doing affiliate marketing with Amazon is that people already know the company and love to shop there, so it's not a hard sell. The company has very high conversion rates, especially around the holidays. And because the product selection is so vast, it fits most kinds of businesses.

If you write about animals, for instance, you can promote cat treats or dog toys. If your audience is interested in cars, you can recommend jumper cables -- you get the idea.

Additionally, if someone ends up on Amazon through your link and buys something other than what your content links to, you still get commission on the user's entire cart.

Ultimately, the only downside is some categories have particularly low commissions, such as video games and electronics.

For businesses with large audiences, Amazon recently launched their new Amazon Influencer Program as an extension to the Associates program for social media influencers. You get similar benefits to the online Associates program, as well as your own page on Amazon with a unique URL to showcase the products you recommend to your followers.

Currently, you must have a YouTube, Instagram, Twitter, or Facebook account to qualify. Amazon looks at the number of followers and other engagement metrics of your social media accounts to determine whether you're eligible for the program.

18. eBay Partner Network

Commission: 50-70% of auction fees (depending on the product category)

Cookie life: 24 hours for "buy it now" items, 10 days for auction items

With over one billion listings from a wide range of product categories, eBay's affiliate program shares a lot of the same advantages as Amazon's -- well-known, high conversion rates, and a diverse selection of products.

The eBay Partner Network pays a commission of 50% to 70% of auction fees -- not the sale price. For each item sold, eBay gets a cut by charging the seller an auction fee. You then earn a percentage of the revenue eBay earns from that purchase, based on the product category.

High-ticket items to promote are those falling under Parts & Accessories, or Fashion. You can have a look at the complete rate card here.

19. Target

Commission: 1-8% (depending on the product category and sales volume)

Cookie life: 7 days

While it doesn't offer as specialized a selection as Amazon or eBay, Target remains a highly recognizable brand with a variety of different products.

Target's affiliate program operates on a volume-based commission structure, meaning that your commission increases as the number of items purchased increases. Sadly, a product category that does not benefit from this model is the Health and Beauty products -- the commission on this category caps at 1%, regardless of volume.

It's also critical to note -- most people tend to prefer buying Target products in-person, rather than online, so this could have an impact on your returns.

22. Scentbird

Commission: $14

Cookie life: 45 days

Born out of frustration with expensive perfume bottles collecting dust on a dresser or cabinet, Scentbird offers a delivery subscription service that gives you access to a 30-day supply of over 450 top designer fragrances. When customers return to Boatbookings, affiliates receive an additional 10% commission on that second purchase.

25. TripAdvisor

Commission: 50%

Cookie life: Session

Crowned the "world's largest travel site", TripAdvisor provides travelers with the wisdom of the crowds to help them decide where to stay, how to fly, what to do, and where to eat. The site helps you compare prices from 200+ hotel booking sites so you can find the lowest price on the hotel that's right for you.

Powered by Commission Junction, TripAdvisor's affiliate program pays a 50% commission off the revenue generated from a user clicking on links and/or ads that send them to a TripAdvisor partner site. Which means, unlike most other affiliate programs in this list, you don't have to wait for your referral to make a purchase to earn your commission. As soon as someone comes from your website and clicks on one of the ads or links on the TripAdvisor website, you get paid.

On average, affiliates will earn between $0.15-$0.75 per click-out. While it may not seem like a lot, since your revenue is only dependent on clicks (and not purchase), this can add up quite nicely.

26. Cheapflights

Commission: Flat rate -- up to $0.45 per click-out

Cookie life: Session

Cheapflights is a travel comparison site that helps users find the cheapest plane tickets.

Cheapflights is another company that rewards its affiliates not for bringing paying customers, but for sending traffic to their partners.

Affiliates are paid a flat fee when a user clicks through -- $0.45 per click-out for desktop and tablet, and $0.25 for mobile.

As an affiliate, you get access to various creative assets, ranging from banners to search boxes and travel widgets, that allow your visitors to conduct a search on your site and display flights results on Cheapflights' page. This is their most popular travel affiliate tool and generates the highest revenue per visit.

27. Momondo

Commission: Flat rate -- up to $0.65 per click-out

Cookie life: Session

Momondo is a global travel search site that compares cheap flights, hotels, and car rental deals.

Each time someone clicks on a flight on Momondo's website from your site's link, you will earn $0.65 for desktop and tablet users, and $0.45 for mobile users.

28. Sandals Resorts

Commission: 4%

Cookie life: 60 days

Sandals is one of the most well-recognized names in Caribbean resort travel. The 15 Sandals Resorts offer luxurious vacations for couples and families traveling to Jamaica, The Bahamas, Barbados, and more.

The Sandals affiliate program pays you a commission for referring users to book either a stay in one of the Sandals Resorts, or booking an activity. While 4% might seem like a small percentage, these luxury resorts have daily rates that range from $150 to over $2,000 per person -- which means, if a couple were to book a romantic week in a Sandals Resort at $500 per person per night, you would earn a commission of $280!

This program is only worthwhile, however, if your site and audience has a true interest in luxury travel to the Caribbean.

Best Personal Finance and Investment Affiliate Programs

29. Capitalist Exploits

Commission: 50%

Cookie life: 365 days

Capitalist Exploits provides trade recommendations for investors and anyone looking to outperform the market by sharing only the best low-risk/high-reward opportunities to subscribers.

Capitalist Exploits pays a 50% commission on any referred sale with absolutely no limits. Their products range from $1,575 to $3,499. This means each referral brings you a minimum of $787.50. Affiliates also receive exclusive access to paid membership trials for your audience.

30. Kabbage

Commission: $250 per qualified lead

Cookie life: Unknown

Kabbage connects small businesses to capital. Small business owners can apply for up to $250,000 in funding.

Affiliates receive $250 for every referred customer who qualifies for the loan, and get an additional $50 when the referral gets approved. Each small business you refer will also receive one $50 gift card once they're approved by Kabbage. There is no limit to the number of referrals you can make, or the amount you can receive.

Ultimately, when deciding which program to choose, there are many key elements to keep in mind, including how established your online following is, and how much you want to earn.

And, most importantly -- who is your audience, and what are they interested in?

Think about what your website visitors or your social media followers need and could benefit from, and choose an affiliate marketing program that will let you promote products in support of that.

You might also want to consider affiliate networks like LinkShare or CJ Affiliate that offer many different programs to choose from. There are no limits to the number of affiliate programs you can join.

164 BEST AFFILIATE PROGRAMS OF 2019 (HIGHEST PAYING FOR BEGINNERS)

BY

you think you’ve got what it takes to make it big as an affiliate?

How do you stop yourself from being among the majority of marketers that barely make a dime online?

When I first started blogging as a total newbie in the world of marketing, business and entrepreneurship, I spent months pouring my heart and soul into my content hoping things would take off.

But I failed. Miserably.

Why?

Because I was promoting products that I couldn’t relate to at all.

I’d judge a product solely on how much commission I would make per sale.

This made it extremely difficult to create compelling content — If I didn’t value the stuff I was writing about, how on earth would anyone else?!

People fail at affiliate marketing for many reasons — from entitlement issues and promoting terrible products to a lack of consistency and focus.

But one thing separates the super affiliates of this world from the rest.

No, they don’t have a magical secret formula for success! But what they do have is a proven affiliate marketing strategy that works.

That’s what you’ll learn in this blog post.

By studying the super successful affiliates of the world we can determine what works and reverse-engineer their strategies.

Here’s what else we’ll cover in this article:

Affiliate Commission Fundamentals.

How To Find The Best Products To Promote.

Understanding The Power of Sales Funnels.

The Best Affiliate Programs By Industry.

Finding Your Own Affiliate Programs.

Using Affiliate Networks.

Plenty of juicy material to plough through so let’s begin!

Strapped for time? Download a handy-dandy PDF version of this post that you can read in your own time! Why? Because you probably won’t make it to the end!

Why Super Affiliates are So Successful

Successful affiliate marketers don’t waste time constantly dabbling and dipping their toe’s into things. They maintain deep focus and remain consistent over a long period.

When it comes to marketing strategy for the best of the best, finding the right affiliate program that has an outstanding commission structure is the name of the game.

Elite level marketers don’t waste time promoting products that produce one-off $20 commissions.

Instead, they align themselves with high paying affiliate programs.

These affiliate marketing programs offer products/services that net huge commissions. And they’re the bread and butter for the super affiliates of today.

Of course, the affiliate programs alone don’t create wealth for these titans of affiliate marketing.

They create and share content that provides a ton of value, making a difference in people’s lives. They establish powerful brands that communicate their message to the world. And in most cases, they’re truly remarkable people!

People that succeed, fully understand the power of self-education, they’re always learning, growing and challenging themselves in some way.

Sucess with affiliate marketing is as much about your psychology as it is about marketing strategy and know-how.

The Bottom Line

Finding the right affiliate program is essential to your success but equally as important is the value you bring to the table. If you take the time to create content that’s epic and impactful for people, you’ll find it much easier to succeed.

Affiliate Commission Fundamentals

Let’s take a deep dive into the commission structures that make for the best affiliate programs. If you want to become a champion in the affiliate space and build a sustainable long-term business, you need to remember this one word…

Diversification.

And you’re in luck because affiliate marketing has plenty of opportunities to diversify your income.

There’s really only two types of commissions you should be aiming for as an affiliate, these are:

High-ticket product commissions

These products are typically sold on the back-end of a sales funnel (more on that in the next section) and cost upwards of $1000.

It doesn’t matter how good you are at marketing, if you’re spending your time promoting $20 products with no future upsells, you’ll struggle to build a profitable business.

For example:

Let’s say you’re going for a million dollars in a year.

To achieve this nice round number that contains many zeros, you’ll need to sell 50,000 copies of a product that costs $20.

Fifty thousand!

Good marketing can’t overcome bad maths.

On the flip side, if you’re promoting a product that costs $1000, you’ll only need to sell 1000 to make one million dollars.

If the product costs $4000 the number goes down to just 250.

Pretty powerful stuff right?!

Recurring commissions

These types of commissions are extremely powerful. Imagine referring someone once to a subscription service and getting paid healthy commissions every month for the lifetime of the customers’ subscription.

This is how you can build real wealth with affiliate marketing.

For example:

Every month I pay for an email marketing service called Convertkit. These guys are the bee’s knee’s when it comes to email marketing for bloggers.

My plan costs me $49 a month.

You can sign up as an affiliate to promote Convertkit to other bloggers and earn a healthy 30% lifetime commission.

This means if you referred just 100 people at $49 a month, you’d be earning $1500 a month.

While this isn’t a huge amount of money, it compounds over time.

You’ll keep earning that $1500 every month as long as your referrals stay signed up.

And check this out — if you referred just 20 people a month, within a year you could be looking at a passive income stream of $3600!

Totally passive. If you didn’t touch your PC for months, you’d STILL earn the same commissions.

That’s pretty incredible if you ask me!

The bottom line

The various commissions structures available with affiliate marketing enable you to create diversified income streams in your online business. Focusing on recurring as well as high-ticket commissions puts you in the best position to build a wildly profitable affiliate marketing business.

Understanding the power of sales funnels

Understanding how sales funnels work can mean the difference between making $1000 or making $10,000 a month.

Seriously.

Most businesses have a sales funnel that they use to sell their products and services to consumers. These funnels usually offer a low-priced or free offering at the top and gradually introduce higher-priced, higher-value products to the leads that come through the funnel.

This back to basics diagram explains how sales funnels work…

Sales funnels work like magic because they help build relationships with customers and offer a taste of your products/services without large upfront investments.

Introducing your high-end products when your prospect barely knows you is like proposing to someone on your first date — it’s just weird!

The best affiliate programs provide lifetime customer commissions. So this means you’ll continue to earn commissions every time your referral invests in a product from the business you referred them to.

This is how you earn the majority of high-ticket commissions in affiliate marketing.

The bottom line

Most successful businesses leverage the power of sales funnels to add value and generate huge profits. As an affiliate, you can leverage sales funnels that have already been setup by merchants to promote their products/services.

Finding The Best Affiliate Products to Promote

How do you measure the value of an affiliate program?

Some things to look out for before you start promoting are:

How popular is the product?

You can’t judge the quality of a product solely based on the commissions you’ll receive.

You’ll find plenty of high paying affiliate programs out there with products that aren’t great.

Research the quality of the product before you start thinking about promoting it. Check out the website. Read online reviews. Google search their brand name.

If no-one is buying the product in the first place, you’re wasting your time.

Commission structure

What’s the percentage of commissions they’re paying? Do they offer high-ticket products? What about recurring monthly payments?

Is it going to be financially viable for you to spend time promoting the product or is there something similar that pays higher commissions?

Cookie duration

The best cookies are the ones that last a lifetime. I’m being serious!

Noo, not the chunky chocolate chip cookies you’re craving — I’m talking about affiliate cookies!

Lifetime and “sticky” cookies mean you’ll be paid every time a customer you referred makes a purchase. In many cases, this still applies if someone cancels their membership and rejoins after a few months.

How cool is that?!

On the flip side, other cookies aren’t so tasty. Some only last for a few days and cover first purchases only.

Backend/upsell products

This is huge for anyone that wants to be a super affiliate.

Affiliate programs that have backend/upsell products (as mentioned in the sales funnel section) can multiply your earnings many times over for doing the same amount of work.

The backend is where businesses make the most money. Let’s say you purchase an e-book on how to overcome anxiety.

After the purchase, the product owner builds a relationship with you through helpful emails that provide tonnes of value. After a week or so, he introduces you to his $2000 training program.

A percentage of people that bought the e-book will invest in the coaching program.

This is a very rough example but it demonstrates the sheer power of upsell products.

Second-tier commissions

These commissions are special.

They pay you a percentage of sales from other affiliates that you’ve referred to the business.

So not only can you make money by promoting products and services, you can also earn a percentage of profits other affiliates make through second-tier commissions!

The bottom line

Understanding what makes a great affiliate program is the key to finding and promoting nothing but the best! High-ticket upsell products is where you can make the big-bucks.

FAQ - Should I be paying to join an affiliate program?

This is a common question that a lot of newbie’s have when first getting started online. The answer is, it depends. Most affiliate programs will be free to join but others have extensive training programs attached that will cost you money.

If you’re new to affiliate marketing, it makes a world of difference if you have access to step-by-step training that puts you on the right track. The right training will save you months, if not years of banging your head against a brick wall.

What Are The Best Affiliate Programs?

Time to slice into the meat and potatoes of this blog post, the list of top affiliate programs! I’ve performed some detailed research and turned over a fair few rocks to bring you this tantalizing list!

I’ve broken things down into sections based on industry and created a handy contents guide (below) where you can jump through to your desired part of the article.

For the most part, you won’t find physical goods affiliate programs such as Amazon Associates in this article.

Why? Because commissions for these products are way too low.

I’ve also written a separate article on travel affiliate programs so you won’t find them on this list either.

Let’s get started!

Business, Entrepreneurship and Marketing

Kicking things off with a bang — affiliate programs in the online business and entrepreneurship space!

Some of these programs provide an incredible education for anyone looking to get their start online through a unique “earn while you learn” opportunity.

Affiliate programs in this space pay extremely well. Why? Because many products are high-ticket AND information-based so businesses can afford to be very generous with their commissions.

Great news for affiliates!

1. The Six Figure Mentors

Strictly speaking, this isn’t an affiliate program as such. I would describe it as more of a digital business system, and one that I openly promote myself because of the sheer life-changing value it provides.

It is a highly unique platform that has by far the highest paying commissions I have ever come across.

The Six Figure Mentors is a training and mentorship platform that prepares you for every aspect of online entrepreneurship, helping to empower you with the digital skill sets and leadership mindsets you need to succeed in the online arena.

They provide a step-by-step, modular training program taught by top business leaders to students from all over the world.

The courses they offer are designed for members to lay the proper foundations for their online business, helping to avoid many of the obstacles and financial errors that people tend to make when starting out as an entrepreneur.

The SFM also houses a community of like-minded aspiring (and accomplished) entrepreneurs which is something that can be invaluable on your journey to success.

This is something perfect for the aspiring entrepreneur looking for their first online opportunity.

You also have the ability to promote the system itself to business opportunity seekers and generate an income through their high paying affiliate program.

They’re the clear market leader in the drop shipping space.

3. PROOF

This is one affiliate program you likely haven’t come across!

PROOF is the brainchild of Dave Rogenmoser, someone I came to know of through the popular consulting.com training course.

PROOF is a subscription software that helps business owners drive more conversions through the awesome power of social proof.

Since this product was launched, I’ve noticed it on dropshipping stores, price comparison websites and digital course sales pages.

PROOF is everywhere!

It uses a simple but powerful pop-up that lets people know who else has signed up/purchased a product recently. This simple concept has resulted in HUGE conversion increases for businesses!

If you run any type of business that involves generating leads/selling products, PROOF could make a game-changing difference to your conversion rates.

Here’s is what it looks like in action…

Looks pretty sweet, right?!

Points worth noting:

A 14-day free trial period before anyone signs up or a paid account.

Basic marketing materials available to help promote software.

4. Kinsta

Kinsta offers powerful managed WordPress hosting for — you guessed it, WordPress websites!

This business falls under the web hosting umbrella and is one that I came across very recently.

Web hosting is a great way for bloggers to generate a healthy affiliate income. This particular example is one of many web hosting companies that pay handsomely for affiliate referrals.

They also do things like daily backups, free website migrations and claim to be secure like Fort Knox!

I selected this business because they’re the first web hosting company I’ve ever seen that offers recurring affiliate commissions on top of the initial referral payments you receive.

Granted, the recurring commissions are only 10% but that’s 10% more than any other web hosting company offers right now.

This affiliate program is hot off the press as it was only released in November of 2017!

Points worth noting:

Exclusive sign-up bonus + recurring affiliate commissions offer.

Sleek affiliate dashboard that’s easy to navigate and simple to use.

A healthy range of promo materials available.

High lifetime value of referrals due to low customer churn rate of 5%.

5. SEMrush

SEMrush is an all-in-one marketing toolkit for digital marketing professionals. They offer a wide range of features from technical SEO audits to rank tracking and competitor intelligence.

It’s also a great tool to use for spying on competitor keywords and discovering what’s working for them!

Many similar tools exist but SEMrush is definitely one of the best on the market when it comes to competitor intelligence.

Points worth noting:

SEMrush uses a first cookie attribution model which means you’ll still receive commissions if a referral cancels then joins up again in the future.

High pricing plans give you the opportunity to make up to $160 a month for each referral!

Lack of satisfactory promotional material — not too much of an issue as most people refer through their email list or direct links on their site.

6. Ninja Outreach

Ninja outreach is a prospecting tool that helps marketers create and manage outbound email campaigns for their businesses.

Specifically speaking, they help marketers reach out and build relationships with industry influencers. Not a tool that I’ve used myself but I know people that use it and they seem to like it.

I’ve hand-picked their affiliate program because of the whopping 50% recurring commissions they offer!

UPDATE: As of February 2019, Ninja Outreach has reduced their recurring commissions down to 20%. Boooo!

Points to consider:

An additional product you can promote is an inbound marketing training course they offer, also 50% 20% commissions.

Great suite of advanced tracking tools for affiliates.

Extensive reporting features.

Their blog receives over 5 million hits a month in organic search visitors, making them the defacto market leaders when it comes to search engine traffic.

Hubspot offer a variety of powerful tools that can be used by marketing, sales and customer service teams.

When it comes down to cost, they’ve traditionally offered packages priced at several hundred dollars per month but have recently also started targeting smaller teams & entrepreneurs with their $50 per month Starter tier.

8. Instapage

Instapage is powerful landing page platform that helps businesses increase their conversion rate. They’ve established themselves in a highly crowded niche by creating a sublime core product that boasts industry leading conversion rates for customers.

I’ve not used the platform myself but I must say, they’ve got a gorgeous website!

While they only offer a 30% recurring commission, their product price point is pretty high, even at the lower end so you can expect some healthy returns from promoting their software.

Pricing starts at $79 and goes all the way up to $229.

Personal Finance and Investing Affiliate Programs

The personal finance space is huge on the internet. We’ve all come across blogs on frugal living, budgeting and real estate investing. People all over the world are sharing their tips, tricks and hacks for us to make the most out of our money.

One thing that gets to me about the personal finance space is too many people pander around frugal living.

Screw frugal living!

We want to build wealth and live abundant lives, not waste our time pinching pennies and saving scraps.

Now that my rant is over, I can talk about the affiliate programs

The top affiliate programs in this space relate to investment products and services. Ironically, there aren’t many high paying affiliate programs for frugal bloggers to promote.

Let’s begin!

9. Etoro

Etoro is the worlds leading social investment network. You can trade and invest in stocks, currencies and commodities.

They’ve created a proprietary technology that allows you to copy the trading strategies of successful investors.

My knowledge of investing leaves a hell of a lot to be desired so I’ll stick with the affiliate program stats!!

This affiliate program pays you once a customer completes a deposit through the Etoro platform.

Points worth noting:

Etoro has paid out over $87,580,000 in commissions to their affiliates so far.

Detailed reporting that’s fast and easy to use.

Unique banners, widgets and landing pages ready for promotion.

BASIC INFO

Niche – Trading and brokerage

Type – Online trading

10. Personal Capital

Dubbed as “wealth management for the internet age”.

Personal Capital helps you manage and grow your investment income through data-driven portfolio management. They offer a sleek, intuitive dashboard interface that combines all your accounts for a complete picture of your finances.

They currently manage over $5.5 billion in assets for clients with various financial needs.

What makes this affiliate program different from the rest is that they per qualified LEAD.

Why? Because Personal Capital works on a commission fee structure. So it’s not like a SAAS company that charges you for a monthly subscription fee.

You can learn more about the affiliate program through this post from the Financial Samurai (he used to work for Personal Capital)

He’s used this affiliate program as the main source of income on his blog. A blog that has enabled him to purchase a $1m+ house in SF back in 2014.

Points worth noting:

Pay per lead affiliate program structure.

Get paid more based on the quality of leads you put through.

11. Credible

Credible specialise in helping students find the best loans for their studies. They also help students refinance their loans for better deals.

These guys bring more transparency and simplicity to the loan to the process of borrowing and refinancing debt.

Not the most exciting thing in the world so let’s jump straight to points to consider!

Points to consider:

Commissions are paid out when a loan offer is accepted.

The best commissions are paid out for student loan refinances.

You must sign up to the affiliate network (Viglink) before you can view affiliate program details.

12. Capitalist Exploits

Capitalist Exploits offers bleeding-edge investing advice for money managers and anyone looking to make outsized returns on their investments in a short space of time (who isn’t, right?!).

Here’s the rub:

When it comes to investing money, most people assume they’re limited to the measly 2-4% average annual return rate offered by traditional stocks and bonds.

But the Asymmetric investing strategies taught by CE take a totally different approach. And it has resulted in people making up to 500% returns on their investments.

CE is unorthodox, well-respected and used by many top investors globally.

So where does the affiliate program come into things?

Capitalist Exploits runs an “insider” newsletter. This is an exclusive members-only list of people that receive the latest trade investment advice.

And the commissions are pretty juicy:

You can make up to $1750 per sale on 50% commissions. Glorious!!

Points worth noting:

50% commissions on products that range from $1575 to $3499.

365-day cookies.

Health, Fitness and Beauty Affiliate Programs

To be honest, I struggled a little at the start looking for high paying affiliate programs in these niches. Finding awesome affiliate marketing programs is tough when you’re not familiar with the industry.

The problem is, many of the high-ticket products are sold by industry influencers and don’t necessarily appear in any of the major affiliate networks.

That said, I’m thrilled to report I came across some sweet ones that I think you’ll love!

13. Organifi

This is a weird one because it’s a physical product.

Physical products (usually) have totally terrible commissions but this happens to be an exception to the rule.

Organifi is a food supplement company that offers a subscription-based model for their products. They’ve created a whole range of whole-food plant-based supplements, from their flagship “GREEN JUICE” powder to complete protein and probiotic supplements.

I love that all their products come with a concrete 120-day money back guarantee (even if you ship them an empty bottle).

This shows confidence in the quality of their goods.

Their Green Juice product alone has sold over $30 million worth of units. They’ve totally sold out over seven times — people love the green stuff!!

The commission structure kinda blew me away a little bit as you can earn recurring commissions from their product subscriptions. This is rare to see for a physical product!

Points worth noting:

Lifetime commissions paid out on subscriptions.

Free to join but you need to apply to be accepted.

14. PHEN 375

Another physical product that’s made it into this article!!

I’m not a huge fan of weight loss pill products but this is another exception.

Why? Because I’ve known about PHEN 375 FOREVER and see they’re still going strong in the market.

A few years ago I was (unsuccessfully) promoting products in the supplement space and PHEN 375 was consistently one of the top-selling products in the affiliate network I was part of.

They’ve amassed over 219,827 customers globally.

They create weight loss pills that suppress appetite and help people trim the fat!

Points to consider:

Generous 60-day money back guarantees for customers.

Their existing top affiliate convert 1 in 4 people!

A respectable 45% commission rate.

BASIC INFO

Niche – Health supplements

Type – Physical products

Commission rate – 45% commissions, up to $90 per sale

15. Food Blogger Pro

Food Blogger Pro teaches people how to start profitable food blogs from scratch. They offer a roster of training videos for people to learn exactly what takes to create a thriving food blog.

The product runs on a subscription model so you can expect some sweet recurring monthly commissions!

This isn’t exactly what you’d call a high paying affiliate program but continuity products in the food blogging space are rare, hence the inclusion!

Here’s what the commissions’ structure looks like:

Points worth noting:

Tiered commission structure that pays up to 40%.

Creative banners and text links to help with promotion.

Low monthly cost makes it hard to earn high monthly recurring commissions.

BASIC INFO

Niche – Food blogging

Type – Membership site

Forward combines the best doctors with the latest technology to bring you an ultra-personalised care experience.

Their doctors help you create custom plans for your health and well-being based on your unique preferences.

They call it “A new kind of health membership, augmented with technology”.

I must say, their health clinic looks pretty damn cool — like something out of the year 3000!

Points worth noting:

They pay you $8 for basic email leads!

$240 payout for each direct sign-up and $80 for “tour bookings”

Discovering your own affiliate programs

Knowing how to do your own research and find the best affiliate programs yourself is an important part of being an affiliate marketer.

Although I’ve curated some totally awesome programs, you may still want to do some digging yourself

An easy way to get started is to simply search for it on Google.

You’ll want to have a rough idea of the type of product you’d like to promote before you start searching.

Let’s say I’m looking to promote designer clothing on my blog.

Here’s what I’d start off searching:

“designer clothing affiliate program”

Here’s what I found:

All this from a simple Google search!

Use your imagination when searching for affiliate programs, you’ll be surprised what you can find through some basic search queries.

Another way to find them is to leverage popular affiliate networks, which bring me to my next point…

Leveraging Affiliate Networks

Affiliate networks are middle-men between affiliates (you) and merchants.

On the merchant side, they usually do all the heavy lifting when it comes to tracking, payments and support.

It makes it easier for businesses to set up affiliate programs and allows them to reach more people looking to promote their products.

On the affiliate side, they provide all the information you need for each program in curated lists that can be customised to your preferences.

Affiliate networks can be a great way to find companies that you wouldn’t come across through Google searching.

Some popular affiliate networks include:

CJ Affiliate

CJ Affiliate (formerly Commissions Junction) are one of the top players for both affiliates and publishers alike. A quick browse on their site reveals a laundry list of big brand publisher partners, from Time to Kiplinger and Wirecutter.

What’s more, CJ offers some of the most advanced customer journey tracking on the market with cross-device targeting and GDPR-friendly cookieless tracking.

CJ is the place to be if you’re a brand looking to recruit high-value affiliates to promote your products/services and I highly recommend them.

You can go here to discover more about joining as an advertiser.

Rakuten Marketing

Rakuten has been voted the number 1 affiliate network for six consecutive years, they must be doing something right! They’re known for listing top quality affiliate programs and providing analytics for both publishers (affiliates) and merchants.

You’ll find a huge variety of global retail brands from Walmart to Lacoste and Best Buy.

Clickbank

Clickbank is an extremely well-known affiliate network that focuses heavily on information products. When I first started affiliate marketing, this was the very first network I came across!

But you know what?

Popularity doesn’t equal quality — the majority of products on there are total trash.

Sometimes you do find gems but these tend to be few and far between.

Sorry Clickbank, you suck!

Moreniche

Moreniche is an affiliate network that’s heavily focused on the health and nutrition niche.

These guys provide a fantastic range of merchants with ethical products that you can promote. MoreNiche pride themselves on being transparent, honest and ethical.

I came across them a few years ago and was impressed with the products and free affiliate training they offered.

If you’re in the health and nutrition niche, I highly recommend checking these guys out!

The bottom line

Google is your best friend when it comes to finding great things to promote. Affiliate networks can also be a great way to find additional affiliate programs. And many of these networks have exclusive parternships with merchants that you won’t find elsewhere.

FAQ - What's the difference between an affiliate program and affiliate network?

Affiliate programs are created by the merchants of the products/services you promote. They connect marketers to merchants and generally simplify the process by providing tools, tracking and payment options that make life easier for both parties.

Rounding things off

So there you have it! Enough information on affiliate marketing to make your head explode.

Don’t worry if you feel overwhelmed, you’ve just had tons of information thrown at you.

This isn’t something that’ll be built overnight.

If I had to give you one piece of advice, it would be to decide on what you want and stick to that one thing.

The dabbling nature people tend to have is the single biggest reason for failure.

Affiliate marketing isn’t easy, and it won’t make you rich overnight. But if you align yourself with the right product, receive the right training and execute on what you’ve learnt, there’s no limit to what you can achieve.

What Are The Best High Paying Affiliate Programs Of 2019?

Niall Roche

Last Update: September 12, 2019

And now for something a little bit different.

Our other roundups focused on the best affiliate programs in a given niche.

But in this one we’re focused solely on high ticket affiliate programs i.e. they pay you a lot of money per sale.

What was interesting was finding a handful of offers where we thought, “Oh…never thought of that one before.”

And if those same niches aren’t front-of-mind for us then most other affiliates won’t have considered them either.

Something else to bear in mind is that it takes roughly the same amount of effort to promote a product that pays a $100 commission as it does to promote a product that pays you $10 per sale.

This is something most affiliates will never understand, so this gives you yet another competitive advantage.

Aren’t we just the nicest people ever?

Let’s get to the affiliate programs.

1. STD Check

Look, let’s be honest, STDCheck was an unexpected find.

The subject matter is also a little bit of a sensitive subject, so not every site owner will want to promote it – we totally get that.

But for those of you who do, the tests are FDA approved, and people can book their STD test online before attending one of the 4,500 test centers dotted around the United States.

The results of the test are available no more than 48 hours later, and nobody has to visit a doctor’s office once during the process.

There are roughly 376 million new STD infections globally each year, with roughly 2 million of those in the United States.

So you have an evergreen market that needs an immediate solution to their problem, which equals a lot of income potential.

And STDCheck.com will pay you an average of US$102 for referring customers to them.

URL: STD Check affiliate program

Commission rate: 40%

Average commission: $102 per sale

EPC: $206.64

Cookie duration: 45 days

2. Verizon Wireless

Verizon Wireless is the largest provider of wireless services in the United States right now, with roughly 35% of the total market.

They’ve also become a household name because they’ve been around in one form or another since the 1800s, although back then they were known as Bell Atlantic.

The point we’re making is that Verizon Wireless is a huge and established cell phone service and product provider.

Now the question you might have is, “Yeah…but doesn’t everyone have a cell phone at this stage – how can I make money here?”

The answer is that mobile customers are always looking for the best deals on phones and the best coverage to go with that.

Basically, wireless providers fall in and out of favor with their customers all the time.

And that’s exactly why you can earn $75 for every new customer you refer to Verizon Wireless.

This rate is for “Bill pay” plans, but you still get paid $30 for referring customers who sign up for a prepaid plan.

Your pre-sell here is that pre-pay customers tend to spend far more than bill pay customers in an average month, which is 100% true.

That approach works in real life, so it should work just as well online.

URL: Verizon Wireless affiliate program

Commission rate: $75 per sale

Average commission: $75 per sale

EPC: $59.39

3. Doggy Dan Training

The Online Dog Trainer, by Doggy Dan, is the most popular dog training product on ClickBank right now.

If you’ve been in the affiliate marketing niche for any length of time at all, you’ll know that you can make serious money with dog training programs.

Everyone wants their dog to be a model of awesome doggy behavior, but maybe 10% of them understand what it takes to actually train a dog.

The homepage for this product has an absolute tear-jerker of a video on how Dan got involved in dog training.

You are dead inside if this doesn’t provoke an emotional reaction in you…

…and in every single person visiting the site.

This is the smartest marketing I’ve seen in a while because it removes all emotional resistance to the sales message.

It might also explain why they’re able to pay affiliates $105.69 per sale.

They do their best to get people into the sales funnel by offering a $1 trial for 3 days, and a 6-month package for $147 instead of the usual $37 per month.

Affiliates stand to make a lot more money by selling 6-months of membership to each dog owner, based on the premise that it takes time to teach an old dog new tricks.

With that being said they have a gravity score of 46.95 so there are repeat sales being made by affiliates over a period of several months.

URL: Online Dog Trainer affiliate program

Commission rate: 64% per sale

Average commission: $105.69

EPC: Gravity 46.95

Cookie duration: 60 days

Note: You can find more pet and dog affiliate programs in our roundup of the best affiliate programs for bloggers.

4. Cosmic Energy Profile

Are we fans of astrology and numerology?

No, because they’re not scientific.

We’re presenting the Cosmic Energy Profile affiliate program as is – you can either choose to promote it or not.

It will suit some of you, depending on your audience, and others will probably scoff at the fact a program like this exists.

One very interesting statistic is that Italians alone spend £5 billion each year on astrology and fortune tellers, so that gives you some idea of what this market is worth on a global basis.

A lot of people are heavily invested in the esoteric and the spiritual – it’s a huge industry and one that can afford to pay you $200 per sale.

Earning that much commission doesn’t come from a single upfront sale, but rather from a mixture of backend product sales (up-sells) tied to the original offer.

They do pay 75% commission on average, which is at the top end of rates for products in the ClickBank Marketplace.

5. Puffy Mattress

There’s an old saying that goes something like this, “You need two things in life – a good pair of boots and a good bed, because if you’re not in one then you’ll be in the other”.

Puffy Mattress took this idea and ran with it, creating what is apparently, “America’s most comfortable mattresses”.

Back sleeper or side sleeper? Puffy has a mattress for you.

In fact, their mattresses are apparently perfect for you regardless of what your sleeping “style” is.

What also makes their products special is they use a self-cooling memory foam material.

So you can say goodbye to playing games of “duvet-off-duvet-on” in the middle of the night.

Surely such a product doesn’t come cheap?

Well no, their mattresses cost between $500 and $1,200, which isn’t as extreme as it sounds – a good mattress costs way more than a bed frame.

But it does also allow them the margins to pay affiliates at least $300 per sale.

And they have an enormous EPC of $442.02.

Even credit card affiliate programs don’t pay out like this.

Note: Puffy Mattress is just one example of how profitable this niche can be, so we’ve listed a number of other home decor affiliate programs here.

6. Tribunk

Tribunk is an interesting business with an interesting product – triple bunk beds.

And not just single mattress triple bunk beds because they also supply them in a king-size configuration.

Yup, just like that scene in Step Brothers, but without all the collapsing and screaming.

These bunk beds are built from heavy-duty steel, and with a maximum load capacity of 800 pounds per bunk.

The target market for these bunks is vacation and rental properties, but we can see how these could be sold into the residential property market too.

After all, with property prices in some areas absolutely skyrocketing, after all, doesn’t being able to comfortably fit more people into each room just make sense?

Helping people fall asleep is a profitable business – you can make $300 for selling a Tribunk and then another $900 selling mattresses for it.

Maybe that’s a potential angle for you here – tiny homes with luxury bedroom layouts? Just a thought.

Tribunks aren’t a mass-market product, but with $300 commissions you kinda owe it to yourself to find a way to promote them.

Watch out for the 1-day cookie though – it’s something you might want to consider negotiating with them.

This particular program would be a good match for some of the other home goods affiliate programs we tracked down for you.

7. LifeLock

LifeLock protects you against identity theft, and not just on the public Internet but also on the dark web.

We’ve become data hoarders over the last two decades – cramming every personal moment and thought in our life into smartphones, tablets, and laptops.

We assume that our personal data is safe…until it’s not.

And when that happens you not only stand to lose access to your email account but your bank account too.

What we’re saying is that identity theft and cybercrime are a very real threat that you can’t afford to ignore.

And the really scary thing is that some of your personal data has probably already been exposed…but nobody bothered telling you.

LifeLock is one of the leading names in identity theft protection, and they pay commission rates to match.

They offer a flat $40 payout for new customers, but if your referral signs up for a “premium” package that’s when the $110 commission rate kicks in.

So you can either accept the relatively easy-to-get $40 commissions or do a bit more work and net almost 3x as much in commission.

We know which route we’d take.

8. WP Engine

WP Engine is a web hosting business that’s part of an industry worth a lot of money.

Actually, it’s worth in the region of US$76 billion per year.

But they carved out a very specific slice of that pie – hosting for WordPress, the dominant blogging platform on Earth.

What also makes WP Engine stand out from other web hosting affiliate programs is their reputation – people love them.

And this is despite the fact that their entry-level hosting package costs over $30 per month, and their “best value” package comes in at almost $300 per month.

And they have no visible issue finding new customers.

They’re also not afraid to handsomely reward affiliates for sending new customers their way, to the tune of $147 per sign-up.

$50 – $80 commissions for web hosting affiliate programs are pretty normal, but $150 per signup is way above the norm.

How many $150 signups would it take you to replace your day job?

Go for it.

P.S. We did a deep dive into the web hosting niche if you’re interested.

9. Kuvings

Kuvings has been making juicers and blenders for four decades now.

And not just any old juicers and blenders, but a range of premium, award-winning kitchen appliances that are the result of over 1,400 different technology patents being filed.

Is juicing still popular?

As of last count, the juicing industry was worth around US$3 billion per year.

In fact, juicing has become so popular that it’s driven up the demand for celery to the point where that vegetable has quadrupled in price.

Obviously, high-quality juicers aren’t cheap to own, so you can expect to pay in the region of US$600 for a Kuvings.

Which leads us nicely to the bit you care about most – show me the money!

And in the case of this affiliate program that amounts to an average payout to affiliates of $152.50 per sale.

That’s a lot of money for promoting a juicer, which would be just part of your affiliate portfolio on a healthy/fitness/weight loss authority site.

10. Medical Alert

Medical alert systems have affiliate programs?

Yes, they do, and MedicalAlert.com is one of the more popular (and profitable) of them.

Almost 20% of the population of the United States can now be classed as senior citizens i.e. they’re at least 65 years of age.

The Baby Boomer generation is now well into retirement age, and that means an increased demand for healthcare providers and medical services for the elderly.

You see, most senior citizens want to live independently but have no way of calling for help if they slip or fall at home.

A medical alert system allows them to contact emergency services from wherever they are, and their family is then notified in turn.

MedicalAlert.com pays its affiliates $150 per sale, and their strong EPC makes this program one seriously worth considering.

This is a very niche program, but if you have the right audience it can most definitely be a profitable one.

11. Founders Card

Founders Card is another one of those products/services you’d probably never turn up when doing niche research.

Why?

Well because it’s not something that’s used by the regular Joe or Josephine on the street.

It’s a mixture of unique and exclusive – not everyone can have one of these cards.

So what is the Founders Card?

You become a member of a community of 30,000 entrepreneurs who can access a range of benefits spread across airlines, hotels, business services, shopping, and signature Founders Card events.

So you might be able to get priority check-in for your flight, and then get a discounted rate in a luxury hotel when you land, for example.

Then when you go shopping you’ll enjoy pricing privileges on a range of luxury products from leading brand names.

Founders Card pays affiliates $100 for every member that signs up with them, and you have a 90-day cookie to play with too.

Any site that covers the topics of business, entrepreneurship or luxury goods shouldn’t have any problem monetizing this offer.

These guys have 30,000 members, so somebody is sending traffic their way, so why got get your slice of the action?

12. Zen Business

Zen Business makes forming your very own business as easy as possible.

If most people were honest they’d love to ditch their day job and strike out on their own…but the seemingly insurmountable mountain of red tape and bureaucratic nonsense puts them off.

Zen Business helps you overcome those hurdles by offering a fast, low-cost service, using expert advice to get your business set up and running as quickly as possible.

And then once your business is off the ground they can also help with things like accounting, getting business insurance and even setting up a business bank account for you.

Although the default commission rate for referring a new customer is $60, their average payout to affiliates is over $200 per sale.

That’s no doubt due to customers being upsold on additional services, which is fine because they’ll probably need them.

Oh and their EPC is enormous at $2,481 – we’d love to see how many digits are on some of those affiliate checks!

13. BBVA Bank

BBVA started in business as the Central Bank & Trust Company of Birmingham, Alabama way back in 1964.

This makes them relatively young for a major bank, but they’ve experienced a huge amount of growth in that time.

BBVA US is no different from other banks in that they offer a range of services for the average person, small businesses, commercial ventures, and corporate entities.

So that means they do all the usual stuff from credit cards and checking accounts, to funding start-ups and providing working capital for growing businesses.

Promoting banking offers isn’t exactly exciting, but the beauty of them is that pretty much everyone you can think of will need to have a bank account at some stage in their life.

And you can get paid $85 for every single person that opens an account with BBVA US.

So although it might seem like this program is limited to people with financial services-related blogs, it has pretty much universal appeal.

14. Princeton Review

Somebody famous once said, “If you fail to prepare, then prepare to fail”.

They’re right, especially when it comes to education. That would have saved some of us (hint: me) from having recurring nightmares about their final exams.

So what The Princeton Review offers is a whole range of exam prep products and tutoring for everything from your ACT, to your SAT, MCAT or USMLE.

They even offer a practice test so you can get a feel for exactly how much help you need from them.

This is an evergreen program because although education might change, exams aren’t going away anytime soon.

Which means you can look forward to banking those $89 commissions over and over again.

And you don’t need to have a site in the education niche because pretty much every student has to take the SAT exam at some stage in their life, so your potential audience is everyone in the United States.

15. Udacity Nano Degrees

Udacity is an online university, but with a twist – it’s aimed at students who want to study technical subjects.

And by technical we mean they have 5 different “schools” you can sign up for – Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Programming, Autonomous Systems, and Cloud Computing.

These aren’t fluffy, ethereal subjects that offer no real hope of employment once you graduate. Instead, these are courses taught, led and mentored by industry experts.

So this means your assignments are potentially more real-world that anything you’d ever find in a physical university.

Oh, they call them Nano Degrees, which not only sounds cool but will stand out from the crowd when you’re promoting them.

With college fees and student debt in the United States on the rise with every passing minute, now is as good a time as any to promote a form of decentralized education.

The proliferation of high-speed broadband networks is making this more viable than ever.

And you’ll get paid $100 for every single student you introduce to Udacity.

Bonus Program

Authority Hacker

And in the most shameless plug possible, we would be remiss if we didn’t mention that we run our very own affiliate program.

Yes, there are dozens of other IM-type products out there, but we actually do what we teach – it’s not just theory.

In fact, we’ll overhaul entire courses if we find a better or more efficient way to do something.

That’s while everyone else is rolling out the same old rehashed nonsense they have been since about 2006.

Everything in this course is based on proven techniques and strategies that can help you build a profitable authority site, and without pissing Google off.

What do we pay? Up to $1,000 per sale.

You can learn more about the Authority Hacker affiliate program by clicking here.

Conclusion

So, there you have it – 15 high-paying affiliate programs that you can sign up for.

We did our best to include a wide variety of programs, but our focus was on how much affiliates (you) get paid.

And in some cases, that’s up to $300 per sale, which is absolutely nuts when you think about it.

10 referrals like that each month is job replacement income for the majority of people.

You like the idea of replacing your day job?

Well, why not step this way, and sign up for our free training program on how to start an authority site?

You get over 2 hours of free guidance and advice on this “making money with a website” stuff from two guys who do it for a living.

You literally have millions of options with what to promote and no matter what niche you’re in, there will be a product to offer your audience.

This makes it perfectly suited for a beginner as you can sign up to become an Amazon Associate then start dropping links to specific products on amazon into your articles or posts right from the start.

44. eBay Partner Network

Similar to Amazon’s network, eBay allows you to promote your choice of millions of different products so you should always be able to find something relevant to your audience or post.

45. Target Affiliates

Target offers over one million products for sale and you can earn up to 8% commission on your referrals in popular categories.

46. AliExpress Affiliate Program

Another retailer with millions of products to promote, AliExpress is growing with over 130,000 sellers. And with commission rates up to 50% on certain products there could be some lucrative opportunities in this affiliate program.

Best affiliate networks

Affiliate networks offer you access to multiple (and by multiple, we mean hundreds if not thousands) of individual affiliate programs. They basically work by simplifying the signup process - instead of applying to become an affiliate for a each product you want to promote, you simply apply to join the network and instantly have access to hundreds of different affiliate offers.

If you need more options with your affiliate offerings, and want to promote a range of digital products and services rather than just physical goods like on Amazon, then one of these top affiliate networks is perfect for you:

47. Skimlinks

Skimlinks takes a different approach to the traditional affiliate network system. When you sign up, you simply copy and paste a short line of code into the footer of your site once and then continue to create content as you normally would, including direct links to products mentioned in your post.

Any links you add from merchants that are signed up with the Skimlinks network will then earn you a commission when a reader clicks through the link and makes a purchase.

This takes all the hassle out of affiliate link management. Your site needs to have commerce related content for this to be useful. It’s free to join Skimlinks and works on a revenue split model where they will receive 25% of any commissions.

48. VigLinks

Viglinks operates in much the same way as Skimlinks, whereby you add a line of code to your site and all links are automatically turned into affiliate links to generate you commissions.

They have over 50,000 brands and merchants signed up and currently have more than two million publishers.

49. ShareASale

This is another very large network offering a lot of options for your affiliate promotions. They also have about 1,000 merchants solely listing their affiliate programs through ShareASale meaning you can only access them through this network.

50. CJ Affiliate by Conversant

Previously known as Commission Junction, CJ Affiliates is one of the oldest and most respected networks. It has a very large database of programs and most merchants have a listing on this site.

They often also pay a higher commission through CJ’s than their own in-house programs. It could potentially be the only affiliate network program you need to sign up with.

51. Clickbank

Clickbank has a huge range of products available and covers all markets from health to digital services. There’s thousands of products you can promote as soon as you’ve signed up. One big benefit of digital products is that they often pay much higher commissions (think 50-75%).

52. Rakuten Affiliate Network

This network was formerly known as LinkShare, and was recently placed number one in the Blue Book Top 20 CPS Affiliate Networks 2016 . Whilst being a smaller network, and thus less suited to those starting out, Rakuten’s investment in technology and people gave it the edge it needed to overcome competition.

It’s best features include automatic ad rotation and the ability to link to a specific page on the merchant's website which makes it easier with your targeting.

53. GlobalWide Media

A large network with multiple offerings, GlobalWide Media (which acquired the affiliate network NeverBlue in 2012) are known for “quality, accountability, reach and great people.” It can be tricky to get accepted as they have a robust signup procedure but once in, they have proactive account managers to assist in getting you set up.

54. PeerFly

These guys were ranked number one in the Blue Book for 2015 and are a smaller network that’s been operating since 2009. PeerFly have a rigorous signup process in order to protect their advertisers and can take up to three days to approve your application.

On the plus side, they have a custom built platform meaning they can add in new features and generally have a more adaptive system than other networks.

55. Awin

58. Zanox

Zanox claim to be Europe’s number one affiliate network and with over 4,000 advertisers it’s definitely one of the biggest. They have a large range of markets covered including telecommunications, travel, financial services, and retail & shopping.

Zanox also own the Affiliate Window program mentioned above and have the exclusive rights to manage the affiliate program for Etsy.com.

Update: Zanox was acquired by Awin.com and is now awin.com/us

59. MaxBounty

MaxBounty pride themselves on the diversity of campaigns offered to their affiliates. They have over 1,500 programs ranging from gaming, to finance, and dieting, with options to receive your commissions as CPA (cost per action like making a sale), CPL (cost per lead), mobile, or PPC (pay per call.) Allowing you to structure your promotions in a way that works best for you.

If you’re like me, when you join affiliate programs, your primary goal is to make commissions by recommending products so that you wake up in the morning to something like this:

Get out of bed and see that you have $957.60 in your bank account from one affiliate sale – just because you’re good at generating traffic.

What Are the Best Affiliate Networks?

Best Affiliate Programs – Summary

WHAT ARE THE BEST AFFILIATE PROGRAMS?

Web hosting is one of the most popular affiliate marketing categories in the world. Every new website requires a host. Therefore, most affiliates that write about marketing, starting an online business, or blogging end up joining web hosting affiliate programs first.

The key to recommending a web hosting platform is that you need to be extremely familiar with the tool. Don’t pick a web hosting affiliate program just based on commission rates alone. The platform has to be intuitive, feature-rich, and the best recommendation for your audience, without a doubt.

Ultimately, web hosting companies provide some of the best affiliate programs, which is why they are at the top of my list.

Here are my picks for the top 5 high paying affiliate programs.

1. BLUEHOST

The Bluehost affiliate program is super popular in the web hosting space. With their plans starting at $2.95/month and one-time payouts starting at $65+, the cost barrier is low, and the commissions are high.

Because of this, they are one of the convenient ways for affiliate bloggers looking to make money online. After you sign up for their program, you will get credit for referrals up to 45 days after the first click. Payments occur between the 16th and the end of each month, and you’ll need at least $100 to release your payment.

By promoting Bluehost, you’ll enjoy high conversion rates and have access to text links and banners to help them quickly. Their affiliate managers provide excellent customer service, and they are my #1 overall pick and come with my highest recommendation.

You can read my full review of the Bluehost Affiliate Program for more information.

If you still need to launch your affiliate website, click my link below to get 63% off your Bluehost plan. Get Started with Bluehost

2. HOSTINGER.

Hostinger is another popular web hosting platform that can offer affiliates up to $150 per sale on a tiered pricing structure.

Their affiliate program offers a base payout of around $60, with the opportunity to make up to $150. And since their small business and WordPress plans have a 90% discount and start at $0.99/month, they boast excellent conversion rates.

Like many other web hosts, they provide banners and promotional tools to help new affiliates get started. Finally, there are no payment caps, and you can send unlimited referrals.

If you still need to launch your affiliate website, click my link below to get 90% off your Hostinger plan. Get Started with Hostinger

3. HOSTGATOR.

By joining the HostGator affiliate program, you can earn up to $100 per sign up and get flexible commission structures and your co-branded landing pages and offers.

For example, I have my HostGator landing page where readers can get 60% off HostGator plans.

Plus they have tiered commissions structures – the more affiliates you refer, the more you earn commissions. You can either choose a performance-based or a hybrid commission model that offers recurring payments too.

By joining their program, you get a dedicated affiliate account manager and access to marketing tools like banners, text links, excellent article content, and email templates. They’re a great web host when starting an affiliate site as well.

4. GREENGEEKS.

If your users are looking for a web host that is both user-friendly (and environmentally-friendly), you should check out GreenGeeks. Did you know your website has a carbon footprint? GreenGeeks is trying to change that by replacing 3x the amount of energy consumed from the grid in the form of renewable energy credits.

By joining their affiliate program, you can earn up to $125 per sale based on performance and traffic levels. GreenGeeks has paid their affiliates over $3.5 million over time and offer dedicated account managers and helpful reporting tools to set you up for success. Lastly, there are no minimum sales thresholds to release your payments.Get Started with GreenGeeks

5. WP ENGINE.

The WP Engine affiliate program has one of the highest affiliate payouts, starting at $200. They are a powerful web hosting platform and one of the premier web hosts for bloggers that write about WordPress plugins and themes.

Their program features incentives and pricing tiers. If you get five sales, you receive an extra $100. For ten purchases, you get $250. They also offer a two-tier affiliate program – you can earn $50 for any sub-affiliates you refer to their platform.

WP Engine has an industry-leading 180-day cookie duration, which gives credit for sales up to 6 months after visitors click your affiliate link. However, the only downside is that their product is more expensive than other web hosting options, so your users may convert at a slightly lower rate.

I know many people that have managed the WP Engine affiliate program and ensure they are committed to the success of their affiliates.Get Started with WP Engine

6. LIQUID WEB.

The Liquid Web affiliate program pays its affiliates 150% of sales, which can be anywhere from $150 – $7,000 per sale. Most conversions will occur for their managed WordPress hosting, but if you generate a sale for their dedicated or cloud hosting, you start earning the big bucks.

They have excellent account managers based on my experience and offer a two-tier affiliate program. This allows you to get a small credit for sales generated by other affiliates that join their affiliate program via your two-tier link (like mine in this article).

WEBSITE AFFILIATE PROGRAMS

After web hosting as the most popular affiliate program category, website builders like Wix and Squarespace and e-commerce platforms like BigCommerce and Shopify are a close second when it comes to digital products. As the first step bloggers take to create a website is choosing a web host; the same is true for business owners looking to build a website.

Plus, because paying customers may stay for 24-36 months, and they have a high lifetime value (LTV), SaaS companies can afford to pay higher than 100% of the monthly sale price.

Here are my picks for the best website and ecommerce affiliate programs:

They have a 90-day cookie and provide banners, text links, and a weekly affiliate newsletter with content templates and SEO advice.

I’m also biased as I used to be their Affiliate Manager in 2018 and know how good the program is.

2. WEEBLY.

Weebly is a simple website builder with an impressive 40 million+ users. It is not the most advanced website builder, but their drag and drop interface makes it very easy to build a quick website. They offer a 30% recurring commission for as long as the customer is active, and feature a generous 120-day cookie window.

When the payment is “recurring,” it doesn’t just occur once, but repeatedly as long as your commissioned user is still a paying customer. Recurring income programs pay their commissions monthly because of the customer retention rate. Most recurring programs are software as a service (SaaS) advertisers whose platforms require a monthly subscription.

Source: Datapine.com

With monthly subscriptions, a customer’s lifetime value (LTV) is much higher than the monthly sale price, as they continue paying every month until they churn.

Because of this, the advertiser can afford to pay one of two ways: a one-time commission higher than the monthly price, or a smaller recurring percentage over the lifetime of the customer.

Affiliates like both one-time payout and recurring models, and there are pros and cons to each approach.

One-time payout:

Pro: You get a more substantial payment upfront, sometimes as high as 500-1,000% of the monthly subscription cost.

Con: You lack consistency in your affiliate revenue stream, and may make less over the lifetime of the customer.

Recurring commission:

Pro: You generate consistent revenue each month and can better predict how much money you’ll make. Additionally, you may also make more over the lifetime of the customer if there are low churn rates and high retention rates.

Con: You make a smaller amount up-front, and the customer could churn quickly, eliminating your earnings.

CRYPTOCURRENCY AND BITCOIN AFFILIATE PROGRAMS

I got deep into crypto-mania last year, spending hours every day trading Bitcoin, Litecoin, Cardano, Stellar, and every coin under the sun on Binance.

Similarly, I even took part in a few ICOs, using digital wallets to exchange one crypto for another. It was addicting.

Although the market has slowed down since January 2018, it is primed to make a comeback.

Many bitcoin affiliate programs are similar to referral programs, whereby registering users, you make a cut of their trades for up to a year. Other crypto programs include recommending digital wallets like Ledger and Trezor.

Above all, Blockchain technology is not going anywhere. If you’re interested in working with affiliate companies in a rising (and falling) industry, check out these programs and watch your revenue charts go to the moon.

SPORTS AFFILIATE PROGRAMS

The sports industry is predicted to reach $73.5 billion in market value in 2019. This revenue includes media rights, merchandising, sponsorships, and the rise of fantasy sports.

If you’d like to tap into this vast market, take a swing at a sports affiliate program.

To recommend products from specific affiliate companies, join a sporting goods, fan gear, or golf affiliate program. Additionally, another strategy is to take your fantasy football knowledge and make commissions from daily fantasy sites like Draft Kings or FanDuel.

Sports aren’t one of the most significant categories in affiliate marketing. However, the sports vertical is a good affiliate program for bloggers who already review the latest sports equipment.

In due time, you can be successful by building your brand around a very specific sports sub-niche and coupling that with an in-depth knowledge of the products you’re recommending.

AFFILIATE MARKETING PROGRAMS FOR PINTEREST

Since May 2017, affiliate marketers can place affiliate links right in their Pinterest pins instead of going through their blogs. This update led to a wave of affiliates making money online without needing a ton of website traffic.

Similarly, this opened the door for influential fashion, beauty, and lifestyle affiliates to reach the 200 million+ Pinterest users more efficiently. With 29% of U.S. adults using Pinterest and 93% of Pinners saying they use Pinterest to plan purchases, it is a lucrative way to generate affiliate revenue.

The best strategy is to join an affiliate network with products that match what people consume on Pinterest. Popular categories on Pinterest include food and drink, DIY, home decor, women’s fashion, and health and fitness.

Here are some networks to join for Pinterest:

1. AMAZON ASSOCIATES.

Sell any product on Amazon directly through your Pinterest pins. If you’re in the US, you will need to have a website or blog to get approved. You can earn up to 10% on over one million products. They also help you post links and promote products on your site with banners. While they’re not a network per se, they provide a massive range of products.

One extra benefit is that when you link to a product with your Amazon affiliate link, you get credit for any product the user purchases in that session. Additionally, if they add a product to their cart and it remains there, you get credit for up to 90 days.

Notable mention: The eBay partner network takes a similar approach, and you can promote over 1.1 billion listings via affiliate links. With eBay, you can earn between 50 and 70% of the sale price. However, you make revenue only when a user purchases within 24 hours of an eBay visit.

2. SHAREASALE.

Shareasale is a popular affiliate network with over 3,900 affiliate programs and verticals like fashion, home and garden, food and drink, and fitness.

For example, you could work with a home decor merchant like Minted and make 20% on all sales. If food and drink is more your cup of tea (or glass of wine), promote Winc Wine and earn $18 for every transaction. With their large merchant base, the opportunities are endless.

3. SENDOWL.

Become a content creator and sell online courses and ebooks directly on Pinterest. You can also sell memberships as SendOwl integrates with three of the top membership sites.

4. SHOPSTYLE COLLECTIVE.

Finally, this fashion site has a ton of clothing and accessories products to promote. They offer an easy user interface, reporting tools, and helpful ways to build your audience.

WHAT ARE AFFILIATE PROGRAMS?

Affiliate programs are arrangements where an online merchant that’s selling products pays an affiliate website a commission for any sales generated from their referral traffic. The affiliate website places affiliate links pointing to the merchant’s site to track transactions. Each agreement between an affiliate and a merchant features the commission structure and payout information.

Source: regentseo.com

There are three main parties involved:

The merchant. For example, a retailer selling products.

The affiliate. For example, a product review website linking to products on the retailer’s site.

The consumer, who visits the affiliate site, clicks the affiliate link to the retailer’s website and purchases the retailer’s product.

HOW DO I JOIN AFFILIATE PROGRAMS?

There are primarily two types of affiliate programs: self-hosted programs, and ones in an affiliate network.

First, self-hosted programs run on the company’s website with affiliate software tools. You join these by searching for “Brand + Affiliate Program,” finding their program page, and filling out a form to apply.

On the other hand, an affiliate program can live inside affiliate networks – a collection of affiliate programs in one secure place. These networks let you join new programs in different verticals, view reporting, see your commissions, and grab your affiliate links to add to your site.

With either approach, there are either automatic approvals or manual approvals. Some programs accept anyone; some automatically add you if you hit specific benchmarks. Many programs require an Affiliate Manager to review your application manually.

WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS TO JOIN AFFILIATE PROGRAMS?

To join affiliate programs, you need a website and a way to receive money – either a PayPal or a bank account. Although you can participate without a website by adding links on social media, this works best for high-end social media influencers, and I always recommend having a website.

I recommend you have a well-designed website with an SSL certificate installed for HTTPS. You should own a business email address connected to your domain, and have a PayPal account set up.

WHAT DO YOU LOOK FOR IN HIGH PAYING AFFILIATE PROGRAMS IN 2019?

The first two things to look for are commission rates and average order value (AOV). Remember, high rates x high average order value = more affiliate revenue. Next, look at the cookie duration and potential earnings per click (EPC).

Here are four things to look for in the best high paying programs:

1. COMMISSION RATE.

The percentage of a sale that’s funded by an advertiser to an affiliate for referring a new customer. This percentage can range from the low single digits up to 50% or higher.

2. AVERAGE ORDER VALUE (AOV).

The average dollar amount spent every time a customer completes an order. To calculate AOV, divide your total revenue by the number of orders.

3. EARNINGS PER CLICK (EPC).

The income an affiliate earns for each click to an advertiser’s website from an affiliate link. This definition is a little misleading as the true definition of EPC calculates the amount per 100 clicks.

4. COOKIE DURATION.

A cookie is a value stored on an end user’s computer and is used to track affiliate sales. The duration is the length of time the cookie stays on the computer after clicking an affiliate link. For example, with a 30-day cookie duration, this means that if a user clicks an affiliate link and makes a purchase within 30 days, the affiliate receives credit for the sale.

There’s no point in making a 5% commission on a $10 pair of socks. That’s only $0.50.

Alternatively, it would be much better to earn an 8% commission on a $1,200 treadmill and make $96. Since your affiliate website can only generate so much traffic every month, you should promote affiliate products that provide an EPC.

Finally, the last metric to look for is a lengthy cookie duration. Standard cookie durations are typically 30 days. You can find programs as low as seven days and as high as 90+ days. Longer cookie durations are a standard feature of programs I recommend.

Remember, you want high payouts, high AOV, and long cookie durations.

AFFILIATE MARKETING TIPS FOR 2019

Source: cloudways.com

Affiliate marketers don’t want to only focus on those four affiliate concepts and blindly recommend any product just because of their high affiliate payouts.

1. YOU NEED TO PROMOTE THE PRODUCTS YOU LOVE AND UNDERSTAND.

Web users can spot fake recommendations quickly and want to learn from real-world experience. Thus, be authentic with your product reviews in 2019.

The growth of affiliate is undeniable, and 2019 will be no different. Affiliate marketing accounts for 16% of all online orders.

So how do you stay on top of emerging trends in the market and join the best up and coming high ticket affiliate programs?

2. RESEARCH EMERGING CATEGORIES.

Currently, fashion is the most popular affiliate marketing category, with 18.7% of campaigns, followed by sports, and health and wellness.

Emerging affiliate markets may include virtual reality (VR), Internet of Things (IoT), 3D printing, wearable tech, and drones.

If you fashion yourself a relationship expert or budding love guru, another emerging category is dating affiliate marketing. With the number of dating websites and apps on the rise and competition more intense than ever, dating sites are leveraging affiliates to recommend their platforms and get more users.

3. MOBILE NETWORKS ARE MULTIPLYING.

Similarly, another big trend is mobile affiliate marketing and CPA networks. Mobile CPA affiliate networks and push notification companies help affiliates push traffic to smartphone apps and mobile platforms.

So we’ve discussed what to look for in the best high paying affiliate programs and emerging trends in the industry.

What’s an easy way to find these programs?

Affiliate networks.

AFFILIATE NETWORKS

You could go to Google and search for individual programs to join, scour the Internet for hours, and eventually discover ones that match your interests.

However, it is much faster to join an affiliate network where you can view thousands of programs in one place. By searching through their marketplace, you can easily view program rates, cookie durations, average EPCs, and more.

WHAT ARE AFFILIATE NETWORKS?

Affiliate networks are intermediaries between merchants that sell products and affiliates that promote them. Joining one benefits merchants and affiliates alike. Affiliate networks allow publishers the ability to search through merchant affiliate programs and join them in one place. Furthermore, they allow merchants to reach a larger audience and promote them to all affiliates in the network.

Source: esuccessmag.com

There are other benefits too. You can compare commissions across different programs, receive prompt payment, and track all affiliate links in their affiliate platforms.

HOW DO I CHOOSE THE BEST ONES?

The network that you choose ultimately depends on your overall strategy and the types of products you want to promote. With an almost unlimited amount of options, you need to pick the ones that match your niche and drive the most revenue.

Here are the top things to consider when deciding between the best.

1. A lot of merchants in your niche.

Some networks specialize in specific verticals like fashion, beauty products, and home goods, while others may have more B2B brands and business merchants. If you’re a blogger, make sure that the network has a large number of merchants that match your niche.

2. Make sure they’re 100% free.

You should NEVER have to pay to join. Networks earn by charging their merchants – set-up fees, monthly fees, and sometimes a percentage of affiliate revenue. If you find one that is trying to charge you to join, turn away fast.

3. High levels of customer support.

All networks provide some level of support but are better than others. If you’d like 24/7 support via phone, email, and live chat software, check the network’s features and dive into platform reviews to make the best choice.

4. High paying merchants.

After you find an affiliate network with merchants that match your niche, the next step is to make sure you can earn high commissions from your sales. Remember, average affiliate commissions (depending on vertical) range from 5-30%. When you scan the list of merchants, do some math on potential earnings and product prices so that you maximize your revenue.

WHAT ARE THE BEST AFFILIATE NETWORKS?

Now that you know what to look for when choosing a network, here are my picks for the best affiliate networks to join in 2019.

1. SHAREASALE.

Shareasale is a massive affiliate network with over 3,900 merchants and 1 million+ affiliates. They’ve been in business for 19 years and are a leader in the industry. Some of their top verticals to promote include fashion, home and garden, food and drink, and B2B. But there are plenty more.

Additionally, they provide great features, including affiliate marketing classes, training webinars, merchant recommendations, and marketing tools to help you grow your revenue.

Their platform is also reliable on the technology front. Specifically, the Shareasale platform provides easy access to affiliate links, reporting tools, and pride themselves on transparency, speed, efficiency, and accuracy.

If you’re starting and want to get your toes wet in affiliate marketing, I recommend you join Shareasale as an affiliate first.

And if you’re a merchant looking for affiliates to promote your products, you can sign up as a merchant.

2. CJ BY CONVERSANT.

CJ by Conversant (formerly Commission Junction) is an affiliate network that has been in the industry for 20 years. They process an incredible $15 billion in annual sales through their platform, with $1.8 billion paid out annually to their affiliates.

If you’re looking to partner with some of the world’s biggest brands, becoming a CJ affiliate is a great choice. Brands like Overstock, Priceline, GoPro, Lowes, and Office Depot are just some of the merchants you can partner with on CJ.

On the publisher’s side, they partner with huge brands like CNN, Time, Digg, and Buzzfeed. With this stiff competition, one drawback is that it can be difficult for new affiliates to get approved to work with larger merchants. You’ll have to get creative with your email outreach to work with them.

However, with their free and easy set-up, excellent real-time reporting, and reliable monthly payments, CJ is a great platform to join in 2019.

If you are a seasoned affiliate and want to work with some of the world’s largest brands, join CJ by Conversant (formerly Commission Junction).

3. RAKUTEN LINKSHARE.

Rakuten, formerly known as LinkShare, is an affiliate network that has been in business since 1996. Although they’ve been in business longer than most, they aren’t as large as CJ by Conversant.

Nevertheless, they have around 1,000 merchants to choose from, including a lot of well-known brands like New Balance, Pac Sun, Ray-Ban, and Sephora.

What makes them unique? First, Rakuten has a very intuitive user interface, advanced deep linking tools, and the ability to creating rotating banners when promoting your merchants. Set up is a breeze. Also, they have excellent transaction reporting and tutorial videos to help you get started and maximize revenue.

However, there are a few drawbacks. For starters, they don’t have as many merchants.

This drawback can limit your ability to sell from a wide range of different brands, and you may have to supplement your income by joining another network. Second, they have irregular payment schedules, so you might not earn commissions at the same time every month. These aren’t deal-breakers, but worth noting.

Ultimately, if you’re an affiliate that has already joined larger platforms and wants to expand your reach, look into joining the Rakuten network.

Two other notable mentions are Impact, Avangate, Awin, Viglink, Pepperjam, and Clickbank. If you’re in the B2C consumer product niche, Clickbank provides a marketplace to promote products from a wide range of industries like food, health, fitness, nutrition, home and garden, and more.
